HEAD COACH BROOKSIDE
TED has coached 17 years at the high school level; 11 years at Brookside, 3 years as a JV coach at Keystone, and 3 years as a JV coach at Cleveland Heights. This will be his 16th year coaching JO’s. He has coached all age groups of players and has enjoyed seeing these players contribute to their high school teams. Being a coach was a by-product of his 20+ years of playing the sport that he is addicted to. He believes that JO volleyball offers the player the opportunity to improve at a much faster rate due to better competition and more exposure to the game. With this opportunity, there needs to be a commitment by each player to the team to play hard at practice as well as at games. Outside of volleyball, if there is such a thing, Ted is married to KELLY and has 2 daughters, 15 and 12 years old. Kelly coaches 7th grade volleyball at Brookside and was a collegiate volleyball player.
Both daughters can be seen at the gym passing/setting/hitting with dad.
